Qualifications: •Must be a U.S. Citizen residing in the United States •Appointment is subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation. •Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance based on an SBI with eligibility for sensitive compartmented information (SCI) •Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration. •A two-year trial period is required for all new permanent appointments to the ODNI. •Uses judgment and ingenuity to apply broad and nonspecific national-level policies to specific joint interagency operational missions. •Carry out mission management responsibilities independently within a broadly defined mission, shepherding counterintelligence integration, planning, and oversight of team actions that affect national-level counterintelligence outcomes and effects. •Provides senior level deconfliction and mediation for interagency activities, making decisions that often involve a strong impact on IC outcomes and effects. •Extensive knowledge of IC organizations; IC mission posture, structures, capabilities, processes, and policy development. •Demonstrated ability to anticipate issues relevant to the IC and United States Government and recommend/implement needed actions.
