Required Skills: •Field instrumentation for process measurement (e.g. Pressure, Temperature, Level, and Flow) as well as specialty measurements (density, vibration) and control valves, shutdown valves, and their transmission systems (e.g. 4-20mA, HART, ProfiBus) •Machinery controls and protection systems •Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC’s) for monitoring and control of packaged systems •Instrumentation cabling, wiring, junction box, power supply and distribution, UPS, and associated TCP/IP, SCADA, Modbus networking and transmission systems. •Sizing and specifying various types of instrumentation for new or existing instruments undergoing a change •Supporting the maintenance team and interfacing with vendors and contractors to maintain, troubleshoot, repair/replace, configure/tune/program, test/commission/de-commission, etc. •Supporting development of equipment strategies, understanding the impact of equipment sparing, redundancy, reliability, availability, maintainability, and maintenance cost in support of operations excellence and capital efficiency •Participating in activities related to safety, risk assessment and safety incident investigations related to instrumentation equipment. Qualifications: •Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronic, or related Engineering discipline. •Knowledge of process measurement technologies including pressure, temperature, level, and flow. •Demonstrated capacity to read and interpret P&IDs and familiarity with ISA/API standards. •Understanding of field instrumentation, signal transmission, communications, and process safety requirements. •Solid functional working knowledge of DCS, SIS, and industrial control systems from major vendors (e.g., Honeywell, Emerson, Yokogawa, Schneider Electric, HIMA). •Operational familiarity with safety design principles, HAZOPs, risk assessments, SIL processes, and hazardous area classifications. •In-depth knowledge of equipment specifications, standards, and reliability strategies. •Knowledge of SCADA, industrial networking, and system integration. •Operational familiarity with Industrial Control Systems Cybersecurity (ICS/OT Security). •Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
