Required Skills: •The Marathon Detroit Michigan Refinery has open positions for Instrument Technicians. •Install, test, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair refinery field instrumentation such as but not limited to , meters, transmitters, transducers, switches, solenoids, relays, control valves, regulators, actuators, positioners). •Maintain and repair instrument-related equipment across process units and maintenance areas. •Service and troubleshoot both electronic and pneumatic instruments; perform routine tests and measurements to verify accuracy and reliability. •Troubleshoot and repair control and monitoring systems including Distributed Control Systems (DCS), PLCs, vibration monitoring systems, and other specialty instrumentation. •Interpret and use drawings and documentation (P&IDs, loop drawings, logic diagrams, schematics, wiring diagrams, equipment manuals, and procedures) to diagnose issues and perform corrective work. •Calibrate instrumentation per specifications; upload and download field instrumentation configuration/diagnostic data as required. •Perform maintenance in accordance with established written procedures and applicable codes/standards; identify opportunities to improve/revise work procedures and documentation.
