Hiring: Instructional Designer Specialist Company: Canon USA Location: Norcross, GA Job Posted Time: 2026-09-03 14:26:52 Employment Type: Full-time / Hybrid Target Skills & Keywords : Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Project Management About the job Experience: •3 to 5 years of related experience of instructional design experience in a corporate environment •5 years of related experience of instructional design experience in a corporate environment Required Skills: •Conduct needs assessments to identify performance gaps and define course goals •Design and develop engaging, AI-enhanced learning experiences using adult learning principles and instructional design models to personalize content, automate workflows, and optimize learner engagement •Create content using tools like Articulate 360 and Synthesia, including microlearning, eLearning, and instructor-led materials such as instructor guides and student guides •Proactively engage and follow up with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather necessary content, clarify technical details, and ensure timely input throughout the design and development process to ensure content accuracy and relevance •Manage multiple projects simultaneously using project management best practices •Evaluate training effectiveness and continuously improve learning solutions •Stay current with trends in instructional design, learning technologies, and print solutions •Complete control documents and maintain records in accordance with department standards Qualifications: •“Dress for Your Day” attire program (casual is welcome, based on your job function) •Volunteer opportunities to give back to our local community •Swag!
