Required Skills: •The Installation Technician will perform on-site installations, upgrades, and troubleshooting of technology systems. This role works closely with project managers, engineers, and customers to ensure installations are completed accurately, efficiently, and according to project requirements. •Install, configure, and test networking equipment, including switches, wireless access points, and related hardware. •Install and terminate low-voltage cabling, including CAT6 and fiber. •Install, configure, and troubleshoot electronic door access control systems, including card readers, door controllers, electronic locks, and related components. •Install and support security technology, including IP cameras and related systems. •Rack, mount, and cable IT equipment, including network hardware and other technology systems. •Perform equipment replacements, upgrades, and technology refresh projects. •Read and interpret floor plans, wiring diagrams, and installation documentation. Qualifications: •In-depth knowledge of low-voltage installations and IT infrastructure. •Knowledge of structured cabling standards and installation practices. •Basic understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, switches, and wireless networks. •Demonstrated capacity to read technical drawings, diagrams, and documentation. •Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. •Excellent communication and customer service skills. •Demonstrated capacity to work independently and as part of a team. •Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. •Demonstrated capacity to manage multiple projects and priorities. •Demonstrated capacity to lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
