Partner with departments to reinforce safe work practices and reduce injury risk. •Cross-Program & Multi-Site Support (20%): Work across multiple programs and locations to support consistency, identify gaps, and assist with system-level solutions. Provide coverage and support based on operational needs and shifting priorities. •Program Implementation & Rollouts (15%): Assist with rollout of new programs, equipment, and process changes, including safe patient handling equipment conversions and respiratory protection (CAPR) implementation. Support departments during transitions to ensure safe and consistent adoption. •Rounding, Observations & Hazard Identification (15%): Conduct site rounding and observations to identify injury risks, unsafe practices, and compliance gaps. Work with departments to implement corrective actions. •Training & Staff Support (10%): Deliver practical, task-based training to frontline staff. Reinforce proper techniques, equipment use, and program expectations across multiple departments. •Incident Support & Trend Tracking (10%): Support review of injury trends, assist with follow-up actions, and help identify opportunities for prevention. Partner with teams to address recurring issues. •Regulatory & Compliance Support (5%): Assist with implementation of regulatory requirements, including Cal/OSHA-related safety programs and updates to investigation and reporting requirements. Qualifications: •Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Public Health, Industrial Hygiene, or allied health field; or equivalent combination of education and experience. •Five (5+) years of experience in injury prevention, occupational health, healthcare safety, or related field. •OSHA 30-Hour General Industry certification •Certified Healthcare Safety Professional (CHSP) required within six (6) months of hire. •Demonstrated capacity to support multiple sites and adapt to changing operational needs. •Willingness to work variable hours based on business needs and participate in an on-call rotation. •Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with frontline staff. •Professional certifications such as CSP, CIH, or program specific certs. •Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre-employment physical.
