Required Skills: •Serve as a senior market leader across infrastructure sectors, including transportation, transit, rail, municipal, and complex public works projects. •Build and maintain trusted client relationships with agencies and stakeholders across the Mid-Atlantic, such as WMATA, DOT's, local jurisdictions, port authorities, and regional partners. •Lead and support pursuit strategies for major infrastructure programs, collaborating with Kimley‑Horn leadership, technical experts, and project teams. •Drive visibility and credibility for Kimley‑Horn through industry involvement, professional associations, and regional conferences. •Help shape long‑term growth strategies for the DMV infrastructure practice, aligning with Kimley‑Horn’s strategic plan. •Project Oversight & Technical Leadership •Serve as Principal‑in‑Charge or Project Director for complex infrastructure projects, providing executive‑level oversight from planning through delivery. •Provide strategic guidance across multidisciplinary teams, ensuring technical quality, consistency, and strong client outcomes. Qualifications: •Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field required. •Professional Engineer (PE) license required; Virginia or Maryland preferred (or ability to obtain). •Demonstrated success managing large, multidisciplinary teams and complex, multi‑million‑dollar public infrastructure projects. •Transit and rail experience is strongly preferred, particularly for candidates focused on the DMV market, but is not required for all candidates. •Established relationships within the Mid-Atlantic public‑sector infrastructure market preferred. •Strong leadership presence with proven ability to influence clients, partners, and internal teams. •Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for building practices, developing people, and creating long‑term client partnerships. •Exceptional Retirement Plan: 2-to1- company match on up to 4% of eligible compensation (salary + bonus) and additional profit-sharing contribution. •Comprehensive Health Coverage: Low-cost medical, dental, and vision insurance options. •Time Off: Personal leave, flexible scheduling, floating holidays, and half-day Fridays.
