Required Skills: •The Infrastructure Lead is a hands-on technical leadership role responsible for the design, performance, security, and reliability of the firm’s IT infrastructure and managed client environments. •This position provides technical direction for infrastructure projects, leads the infrastructure team, and serves as the highest escalation point for complex technical issues. The role works within a Microsoft-focused, virtualized environment and collaborates closely with an internal software development team. •Manage the availability, performance, capacity, and lifecycle of virtualization, storage, networking, identity, and cloud infrastructure. •Define technical direction for infrastructure projects, including vendor evaluation, cost analysis, and implementation planning. •Serve as the final escalation point for complex technical issues across internal and client environments. •Lead and develop the infrastructure team, including direct supervision of a Systems Administrator. •Oversee infrastructure security, including hardening standards, patching, vulnerability remediation, and incident response. •Manage backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans, including testing and documentation. Qualifications: •Expertise with Windows Server, Windows desktop operating systems, Active Directory, and Entra ID. •Applied hands-on capability in Hyper-V, including clustering, storage, and virtual network design. •Strong networking knowledge, including firewalls, VLANs, routing, VPNs, and network troubleshooting. •Knowledge of backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity design and testing. •Proficiency with Windows and Linux scripting and automation. •Solid functional working knowledge of database administration and database performance management. •Operational familiarity with CI/CD tools and containerization technologies. •Bachelor’s degree, relevant IT experience, and/or recognized IT certifications. •, based on experience, education, qualifications, and other relevant factors.
