Required Skills: •We are seeking an Information Management and Protection Specialist who will support the FUSION and FISSION ENERGY and SCIENCE DIRECTORATE at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL). •This position will coordinate FFESD Operations activities related to Information Protection and Security, Information Management, Cyber Security, and Operational Communications. Qualifications: •Excellent written and oral communication skills. •Operational familiarity with ORNL Systems and Processes. •Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of people having a wide range of technical and scientific backgrounds. •Demonstrated capacity to work independently and meet deadlines. •Demonstrated capacity to function well in a fast-paced research environment, set priorities to accomplish multiple tasks within deadlines, and adapt to ever-changing needs. •Existing Q or L clearance preferred but not required. •Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. •This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a clearance from the Department of Energy. As such, this position is a Workplace Substance Abuse (WSAP) testing designated position. WSAP positions require passing a pre-placement drug test and participation in an ongoing random drug testing program. •Moving can be overwhelming and expensive.
