Required Skills: •Design, develop, and optimize discrete-event simulation models to evaluate manufacturing operations, capacity, throughput, labor utilization, and material flow. •Create and maintain digital twin models and CAD-based facility layouts that support manufacturing design, equipment integration, and future expansion. •Analyze manufacturing scenarios to identify process improvements, validate engineering assumptions, and support data-driven decision making. •Design and optimize material flow strategies involving conveyors, AGVs/AMRs, warehousing, buffering, and production routing. •Lead manufacturing infrastructure planning for utilities including electrical systems, HVAC, compressed air, network connectivity, and dust collection. •Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Operations, Automation, Maintenance, Supply Chain, Project Management, and equipment suppliers to support capital projects and facility improvements. •Participate in equipment layout reviews, Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), commissioning, and production startup activities. •Develop engineering standards, simulation governance, documentation practices, and best practices for digital modeling. Qualifications: •Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field. •5–7 years of experience in industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, facility design, systems engineering, simulation, or infrastructure planning. •Strong proficiency with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar CAD software. •Knowledge of manufacturing systems, material flow, capacity planning, automation, utilities, and production infrastructure. •Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills. •Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex engineering concepts to technical and non-technical audiences. •How You Will Be Successful •Use advanced simulation tools and engineering analysis to improve manufacturing performance, optimize facility design, and solve complex operational challenges. •Building Relationships •Partner with Engineering, Operations, Automation, Maintenance, Supply Chain, Project Management, and equipment suppliers to successfully deliver strategic manufacturing initiatives.
