Hiring: Industrial Maintenance Technicians and Electricians Company: Tyson Foods Location: Zeeland, MI Job Posted Time: 2026-09-10 11:34:57 Employment Type: Contract Target Skills & Keywords : PLC, SCADA About the job Experience: •3 years of industrial maintenance experience, programming experience with an ability to program PLC, HMI and SCADA control systems highly preferred •At least 3 years of industrial maintenance experience, programming experience with an ability to program PLC, HMI and SCADA control systems highly preferred Required Skills: •Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on plant production equipment •Shaft seals, motors, bearings, sprockets, conveyors, and alignments •Rebuilds of pneumatic and hydraulic cylinders, valves, and pumps •Perform basic electrical troubleshooting (low and high voltage up to 480V) •Interpret electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic prints and schematics •Maintain packaging equipment, vacuum pumps, box makers, and taper machines •Follow procedure manuals and maintenance standards •Perform oil removal and system maintenance on hydraulic and vacuum equipment Qualifications: •High school diploma or GED. •3 + years industrial maintenance experience required. •Basic computer skills will be necessary to log information, to process daily work orders and to complete required documentation. Ability to learn and utilize the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) •The ability to communicate effectively and basic math skills are necessary to perform this job at a satisfactorily level •Demonstrated capacity to interpret schematics and blueprints during troubleshooting. •Proficient in the use of hand and power tools and measuring equipment. •Demonstrated capacity to work in a team environment. •Demonstrated capacity to self-motivate and work independently. •Comfortable operating at high elevations if needed •Demonstrated capacity to lift or move 75 pounds.
