Required Skills: •This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. •Lead and oversee troubleshooting and repairing machine breakdowns while also performing preventive maintenance and adjusting equipment. •Maintains accurate records on log sheets and in a computer-based system •Cleans up area after tasks and assists in keeping the shop clean and orderly •Checks out and accounts for parts used on the job •Demonstrated capacity to fill out work notifications, PM reviews and work order evaluations •Demonstrated capacity to assist Team Members while developing and maintaining positive professional relationships •Must be able to work a variable schedule and occasional holidays Qualifications: •The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation. •The Team Member will flex/grip with wrists/hands •The Team Member will walk, bend, squat, and stand •Must be willing to lift up to 50 lbs. on a frequent basis •The Team Member will work with heights up to 70 feet off of the ground on occasion •The Team Member will work in harsh environments for short periods of time (Ex: Heat, cold, rain, snow, wind, water, mud, etc.) •The Team Member will take and pass various tests regarding safety within 30 days. •Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson will have a minimum rehire waiting period of 90 days and are limited to 3 times of employment. •3RD SHIFT (United States of America) •Certain roles at Tyson require background checks.
