Required Skills: •Position is responsible for maintaining equipment in good working condition. •Perform routine preventative maintenance repairs •Perform emergency mechanical or electrical repairs •Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic Plant equipment •Minimize downtime due to equipment failure •Support production in addressing equipment problems during shift •Handle all mechanical problems that may arise in a fast-paced environment •Ensure work area is clean at all time Qualifications: •The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation •Demonstrated capacity to push, pull, and lift 20 pounds repeatedly during shift •Demonstrated capacity to push, pull and lift 75 pounds occasionally •Demonstrated capacity to stand on hard surface for up to 10 hours per day •Must work in cold/hot temperatures ranging from -20 to 100 degrees •Repetitive bending, reaching, squatting, and gripping •Basic Math skills: percentages, fractions, and measurements •Must be able to work overtime and weekends •Position will require Lock Out Tag Out certification •Minimum of 1 year of mechanic work experience (can be a combination of employers) or a graduate of an industrial maintenance training program.
