Required Skills: •Workflow Optimization: Analyzes and designs sequence of operations and workflow to improve efficiencies in plant facilities, equipment layouts, and material handling systems. •Product Flow: Establishes methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel while optimizing product flow using Value Stream Mapping (VSM). •Continuous Improvement: Conducts studies pertaining to cost control, cost reduction, inventory control, and waste elimination utilizing Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies. •Work Measurement: Conducts time and motion studies to develop, maintain, and provide accurate time standards and standard work instructions to the shop floor. •Capacity & Balancing: Utilizes analytical skills and simulation tools for capacity analysis, tool and equipment utilization, constraint management (Theory of Constraints), and line balancing. •Safety Integration: Partners with EHS to establish ergonomic and accident prevention measures through workplace design and manage technical training programs for production personnel. •Facilities Planning: Collaborates with facilities engineers in macro and micro layout planning, facility design, and the implementation of 5S methodologies. •Data Analytics: Develops and tracks KPIs regarding labor efficiency, machine utilization, and production throughput to drive data-based decision-making.
