Required Skills: •Oversee all daily operations of the distribution center, ensuring goods are received, stored, and dispatched accurately and efficiently, maintaining optimal inventory levels. This also includes oversight over volunteer activities. •Implement and maintain inventory management processes to monitor inventory levels, ensure accuracy including cycle counting, and implement strategies to optimize inventory levels and minimize waste. •Supervise and manage warehouse staff, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and ensuring a high level of employee morale and a positive work culture. •Work and communicate with Feed the Children’s transportation affiliate and 3rd party logistics carriers. •Maintain a safe and clean work environment by enforcing safety regulations and OSHA standards, complying with legal regulations, and conducting regular safety audits and staff safety training sessions. •Prepare and manage reports on warehouse performance, inventory levels, operational metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs), presenting findings to senior management. •Address and resolve any issues or problems that arise in the distribution center, ensuring smooth and efficient operations involving management on any areas that require escalation for support. Qualifications: •Bachelor’s degree preferred. High school diploma or GED required.
