The Impact Manager will work on-site at their designated school placement(s) with one office-based day during the week and select offsite locations and remote days as approved by their Impact Director. •Bachelor's degree in Education, Social Work, Urban Studies, Youth Work, or other related field preferred but experience in management, non-profits, community service and/or youth work is acceptable •2-5 years of experience in education or comparable experience •Setting high expectations and holding self and team accountable for performance goals •Developing diverse talent through performance plans, reviews and leadership opportunities •Using progress and outcome data to inform team management •Authorized documentation to work in the United States of America •Criminal background history clearance to work with school-age children, depending on the position Qualifications: •City Year/AmeriCorps/Peace Corps/ National service experience is a plus •Proven professional relationships and experience working with/in Detroit Public School Community District or as a contracted provider with DPSCD is a plus •Demonstrated ability to work with and lead diverse teams of young adults which includes experience coaching young people and working with diverse populations to achieve goals •Developing & Empowering Others: Creates opportunities for others to learn, develop, take action, and lead. •Project Management: Organizes, prioritizes, tracks, and manages workflow and resources. •Managing Performance: Assigns, tracks, and prioritizes work to ensure high-quality outputs; inspires committed and positive action toward organizational goals. •Team Building: Leads individual contributors into becoming a cohesive unit; fosters belonging, collaboration, and inclusion. •Collaboration: Connects with stakeholders to identify shared interests; intentionally partners with others to incorporate different perspectives in pursuit of a common goal. •Be physically present on your assigned school campus(es) during designated work hours •Move about the school campus as needed throughout the workday Compensation: •$55,000 - $60,000 / year Interested candidates, please apply directly through the job posting on company's career page or try via AI auto apply on this platform.
