Proficiency in Spanish is highly desirable. Additional knowledge of Portuguese or French is an asset. •Trusted partner: earns confidence through integrity, discretion, candor, reliability, sound judgment, and consistency between commitments and actions. Values clear and consistent communication, and models the same with teams, peers and stakeholders. Required Skills: •Reporting to the Managing Director of Blended Finance, the Director will be the Managing Director’s trusted partner and operational deputy, with shared responsibility for the Division’s performance, culture, risk management, and external reputation. Qualifications: •Master's degree (or equivalent advanced degree) in finance, economics, business administration, public policy, international development, engineering, or another fields relevant to the responsibilities of the role. •Consanguinity: You have no family members (up to the fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse) working at the IDB, IDB Invest, or IDB Lab. •Type of contract and duration •Staff: International staff contract, 36 months initially, renewable upon mutual agreement.
