Required Skills: •Looking for an opportunity to make an impact? •Are you ready for your next career challenge? •Leidos Defense is seeking a Software Systems Lab Manager for our •Manage day-to-day operations and maintenance of classified engineering lab •Ensure lab operations comply with applicable DoD security requirements. •Partner with FSO, ISSO, ISSM, and cyber security to maintain secure and effective operations. •Identify and mitigate lab safety, security, technical, and operational risks. •Support engineering integration and test activities as needed. Qualifications: •Requires an ABET accredited B.S. or equivalent degree in computer engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, or similar field with 8+ years of prior relevant experience. •Candidates must have experience managing day-to-day operation of an engineering or test lab including: Equipment management, facility resource management, and scheduling of design or test events. •Candidates must have experience with identifying and mitigating laboratory hazards and operational risks including electrical safety, ESD, RF/EMI, hazardous materials, and fire protection. •Candidates must have knowledge of and experience with handling classified data and material. •Candidates must have working knowledge of NISPOM/32 CFR Part 117, DSS/DCSA requirements, and other applicable security policies. •Candidates must have direct, hands-on experience with hardware, software, or system integration, troubleshooting and testing. •Candidates must have the ability to work and communicate with various other program functional groups, program management, engineering, cybersecurity, IT and Classified IT, security, facilities, and safety. •Resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area. •US Citizenship required with active secret clearance. •At least eight years of experience in engineering, laboratory, test, or integration operations.
