Required Skills: •Directs and manages mechanical design and engineering activities for projects or scopes of medium to large scale. •Manages complex interactions among multiple Bechtel entities or client-mandated collaborations with other contractors as required. •In depth knowledge of equipment packages such as Air Handling Systems, Air Condensing units, Variable Air, Volume Units and Cleanroom Recirculation Air and Exhaust Systems. •Good working knowledge of American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), SMACNA and International Mechanical Code (IMC) standards for HVAC and Air Handling Units. •Supports inputs to the engineering components of a mechanical estimate including quantities, job hours and budgets for both proposals and execution phases. •Performs and manages the work in accordance with relevant Engineering Department Procedures (EDPs), design guides and Bechtel Standard Application Programs (BSAPs). •Supports mechanical engineering schedule in collaboration with all engineering disciplines. •Collaborates actively with Procurement, Construction, Startup, Environmental Safety and Health (ES&H), and Project Controls to align assigned mechanical engineering tasks.
