This is a hands-on generalist role for someone who thrives on variety, takes ownership, and brings both operational rigor and genuine care for the employee experience. •Serve as a first point of contact for employees and managers on HR questions, policies, and workplace matters •Handle employee relations issues with discretion, sound judgment, and a solutions-oriented approach — escalating when appropriate •Actively facilitate and support administration of PTO, leaves of absence, and other employee lifecycle processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance •Maintain employee records and HR data with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality •Champion Versa's culture and values, creating programs and touchpoints that reinforce belonging and engagement across a distributed global workforce •Help ensure Versa's people practices remain compliant with federal, state, and local employment laws across our U.S. locations •Actively facilitate and support maintenance and ongoing updates of the employee handbook and HR policies, flagging changes in law or best practice Qualifications: •Solid working knowledge of U.S. employment law and multi-state compliance requirements •Strong employee relations instincts — you know how to listen, de-escalate, and find the right path forward •Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities without dropping the ball •Excellent written and verbal communication skills; you can adjust your style from a one-on-one with an employee to a policy memo for the company •Comfortable with ambiguity and energized by building — this is not a role where all the processes are already in place •A collaborative, low-ego team player who is as comfortable rolling up their sleeves as they are thinking strategically •Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field; SHRM-CP or PHR certification a plus •Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States Compensation: •Flexible work environment (work from home / hybrid options) •Competitive benefits and rewards package •And international markets, with a focus on equity, value, and cost-effectiveness Interested candidates, please apply directly through the job posting on company's career page or try via AI auto apply on this platform.
