Hiring: HSI Engineer III Company: Axiom Space Location: Houston, TX Job Posted Time: 2026-09-16 13:47:55 Target Skills & Keywords : Agile, Integration Testing, Project Management, Systems Integration About the job Experience: •4 or more years of experience with HSI, human factors, or user-centered design •Proficiency in process mapping and documentation •An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered •Preference will be given to candidates who have experience and knowledge of the NASA HSI process •Track record of making things happen in ambiguous, fast-moving environments Required Skills: •Actively facilitate and support Axiom HSI Process •Actively facilitate and support development of Master Task Analyses •Partner cross-functionally with Responsible Engineers, Operations, Medical Operations, and Safety •Interface directly with Axiom Station Responsible Engineers, Operations, Medical Operations and Safety on development of test plans, performing HSI analysis, and support develop the subsequent reports •Conduct user research, task analysis, and usability testing •Support test readiness activities and integration testing •Communicate program progress, status, and potential issues to stakeholders and leadership •Communicating project progress, status, and potential issues to stakeholders and leadership Qualifications: •To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
