Hiring: HR Project Manager Sr. Company: Donaldson Location: Bloomington, MN Job Posted Time: 2026-09-03 11:31:25 Employment Type: Remote Target Skills & Keywords : Agile, CPT, Jira, Microsoft Office, Project Management, Workday About the job Experience: •5+ years of relevant experience in HR project management Required Skills: •Project Planning: Develop and implement full-scale HR project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, roles & responsibilities, budgets, and deliverables. •Project Execution: Run the projects, manage teams, track progress, and ensure the project delivers expected outcomes within scope, time, and budget. •Project Communication: Effectively communicate project status to stakeholders in a timely manner and clear fashion. •Project Tools & Documentation: Utilize effective PM tools & technology to execute projects. Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirement documentation, and presentations. •Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with global HR teams, cross functional teams, and external vendors to ensure the project’s success. You will coach, mentor, motivate, and supervise project team members and influence them to ensure the project’s success. •Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement best practices through project postmortems and create recommendation reports to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements. •Project Transition: Ensure projects are successfully transitioned to operational support with necessary documentation, process updates, and training. •Project Management Capability Building: Establish and promote HR project management standards, tools, governance, templates, and best practices to create a consistent framework that enables successful project execution across the global HR organization. Qualifications: •Knowledge of project management applications (for example: Microsoft Project) •Skillful knowledge and use of MS Office tools, Jira •PMP, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or global HR M&A-related certifications. •Strong verbal and written communication skills; expertise in setting and managing stakeholder expectations •Strong leadership and interpersonal skills •Knowledge of industry standard project management methodology and experience or familiarity with PMBoK, SDLC, Agile or related disciplines •Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional HR projects in a global or matrixed organization. •Demonstrated capacity to manage ambiguity, organize complex work, and drive execution across multiple stakeholders. •Strong business acumen and understanding of HR processes, systems, and service delivery models.
