Hiring: HR Generalist - Pipe Yard and Fabrication Company: Ferguson Location: Fulton, MS Job Posted Time: 2026-09-12 11:26:39 Employment Type: On-site Target Skills & Keywords : Change Management, Project Management About the job Required Skills: •Assess gaps and opportunities for improvement in HR policies, programs, and processes; recommend and implement effective solutions. •Collaborate alongside site leadership to support associate engagement, retention, leadership development, and workforce planning initiatives. •Analyze, prepare, and maintain HR metrics and reporting for leadership, including turnover, staffing, attendance, engagement, and other site performance indicators. •Support recruiting, onboarding, and talent resource coordination efforts to ensure staffing levels meet business demands. •Assist in the development and delivery of training programs for managers, supervisors, and associates on HR-related policies, compliance requirements, leadership skills, and workplace expectations. •Coach leaders on workforce relations issues, performance management, corrective action processes, and talent development strategies. •Partner with EPG in conducting workplace investigations and provide recommendations consistent with company policies and applicable laws. •Research and stay abreast of changing employment laws, regulations, and compliance requirements; recommend updates to policies and procedures as needed. Qualifications: •Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience combined with education. •Minimum of two years of Human Resources experience, preferably in a manufacturing, fabrication, industrial, warehouse, or operations environment. •Strong eye for business with the ability to balance operational priorities with compliance and employee experience. •Solid functional working knowledge of employment laws and HR guidelines. •Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. •Demonstrated capacity to build strong partnerships with hourly associates, supervisors, and leadership teams. •Proven ability to handle employee relations matters with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment. •Strong analytical skills with a thorough approach to problem-solving and decision-making. •Effective project management, organizational, and planning abilities. •Demonstrated capacity to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced, results-focused environment.
