Required Skills: •This position will be based on-site at our manufacturing facility in Memphis, TN. •This HR Generalist will support 1st shift (6:00 AM – 3:00 PM) with flexibility based on business needs. Initial training will be conducted on a standard day shift (9:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Monday-Friday) for the first few weeks prior to transitioning. •Serving as a key HR resource for employees and leaders by providing guidance on company policies, procedures, and employment practices. •Managing routine employee relations matters, conducting investigations, facilitating conflict resolution efforts, and partnering with HR leadership on more complex employee issues. •Partnering with leaders on attendance management, performance management, corrective actions, and employee development activities. •Supporting talent acquisition, onboarding, and employee lifecycle activities to ensure a positive employee experience. •Coordinating and facilitating training programs and ensuring required compliance and development training is completed. •Supporting workforce planning activities, employee engagement initiatives, and organizational improvement efforts. Qualifications: •Bachelor's degree required; degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. •Solid functional working knowledge of employee relations practices and employment law fundamentals. •Demonstrated capacity to exercise sound judgment and make independent decisions within established policies, procedures, and guidelines. •Demonstrated capacity to handle confidential and sensitive employee matters with professionalism and discretion. •Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with managers and employees at all levels of the organization. •Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills using sound judgment and practical business considerations. •Demonstrated capacity to analyze data, compile reports, identify trends, and draw reasonable conclusions. •Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Intermediate Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data validation). •Demonstrated capacity to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
