Hiring: Hospitalist (Day & Night Opportunities) Company: Astrana Health Location: Monterey Park, CA Job Posted Time: 2026-09-11 10:28:24 About the job Required Skills: •Provide comprehensive inpatient medical care to hospitalized adult patients across affiliated community hospitals in Los Angeles and Orange Counties •Manage an average daily census of 15 to 20 patients, including conducting admissions, daily rounds, treatment planning, discharge coordination, and ongoing medical management •Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a broad range of acute and chronic medical conditions while ensuring evidence-based, patient-centered care •Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams including nursing staff, case managers, pharmacists, therapists, and consulting specialists to optimize patient outcomes and ensure continuity of care •Coordinate care with a robust network of specialty services, including cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, hepatobiliary surgery, neurology, neuro-interventional radiology, and other subspecialties as needed •Monitor patient progress, review laboratory and diagnostic test results, adjust treatment plans, and communicate clinical updates with patients and their families •Facilitate timely and efficient transitions of care, including discharge planning, post-acute care coordination, and communication with primary care providers and outpatient specialists Qualifications: •Board Certified/Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine •Medical degree from accredited medical school •Current California State Medical License •Cantonese, Mandarin, and/or Spanish speaking are preferred, but not required •Environmental Job Requirements and Working Conditions •Our LA County division covers the following hospitals: Garfield Medical Center, Alhambra Hospital, and San Gabriel Valley Medical Center, Monterey Park Hospital, Greater El Monte Community Hospital, USC Arcadia •Our Orange County division currently covers Foothill Regional Medical Center in Tustin, as well as Anaheim Regional Medical Center in Anaheim •Competitive compensation ranging from $280,000 to $550,000 annually, based on experience, productivity, and contributions to the program •Dedicated intensivist coverage with no ICU management, code leadership, or procedural requirements •Strong multispecialty support across a diverse and growing hospital network Compensation: •$280,000 - $550,000 / year Interested candidates, please apply directly through the job posting on company's career page or try via AI auto apply on this platform.
