We are currently recruiting for a full-time Pharmacy Manager to work Monday - Friday, 8:00AM to 4:30PM and on-call as needed. •Plans, coordinates, directs and evaluates all clinical activities as delegated by the Director of Pharmacy, including supervision of refilling machines, medical prescriptions database entries and dispatch of medicines. •Plans, coordinates, directs and evaluates all administrative activities as delegated by the Director of Pharmacy, including scheduling of pharmacy technicians tasks, monitoring process compliance and monthly reporting. •Implements process and procedures to comply with regulations for medicine handling including reception and storage of medicines, inventory and expenses controls. •Manages day to day activities of the pharmacy technicians and monitors their performance to meet departmental goals. •In the absence of medicines, communicates with nursing, doctors and administrative areas to provide alternatives and also makes and/or supervises preparation of interveinal drugs. •Maintains pharmacist’s certifications and maintenance of database privileges and access controls to medical records. •Provides pharmaceutical care to patients as a staff pharmacist. Qualifications: •Bachelors degree in pharmacy or PharmD. •Must be a “good standing” licensed Pharmacist in the state of Nevada. •Inpatient/hospital pharmacy experience strongly preferred. •Management experience strongly preferred. •Demonstrated capacity to develop, implement and lead all aspects of pharmacy operation. •Demonstrated capacity to see, hear, write, and speak clearly in order to communicate with customers and health care professionals. •Excellent planning, organizing and leadership skills. •Strong customer orientation and negotiation skills. •Pressure to perform in emergency situations. •Demonstrated capacity to work on call or be in an on call rotation.
