Hiring: Health Physics, Senior Specialist Company: Cardinal Health Location: Indianapolis, IN Job Posted Time: 2026-09-11 11:24:31 Employment Type: Full-time About the job Experience: •2-4 years of experience, preferred •4 years of experience, preferred Required Skills: •Research regulatory issues to ensure compliance with appropriate local, state and federal regulatory agencies •Coordinates and ensures compliance with daily, weekly and monthly EH&S and radiation safety tasks. •Identifies facility safety training needs and develops and coordinates safety training programs. •Lead and facilitate safety committee meetings to engage employees in improving the safety culture. •Provides technical support to facility personnel to ensure compliance with applicable occupational safety and health and radioactive material regulations. •Review and lead injury/illness and non-injury incident investigation reports and follows up as necessary. •Performs audits and inspects the facility to ensure compliance with company, local, state and federal regulations. •Participates and responds to investigations of environmental health incidents and emergencies and recommends appropriate corrective actions when needed.
