Hiring: Health Finance Consultant Company: Public Consulting Group Location: United States Job Posted Time: 2026-09-03 11:01:09 Employment Type: Remote Target Skills & Keywords : Medicaid, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, Microsoft PowerPoint, Program Management, Project Management About the job Experience: •5+ years of relevant work experience Required Skills: •Program Expertise and Policy Analysis •Develops subject matter expertise in EMS, fire services, Medicaid financing, reimbursement programs, and public-sector consulting operations. •Analyzes and interprets federal and state laws, regulations, policies, and reimbursement methodologies. •Monitors emerging federal and state policy developments and evaluates their impact on client programs and operations. •Manages or supports the administration of complex state healthcare programs, grant-funded initiatives, provider payment programs, and other public-sector healthcare operations involving multiple stakeholders, funding streams, regulatory requirements, and operational oversight. •Leads implementation, operational oversight, and continuous improvement activities for complex healthcare financing, reimbursement, and public-sector programs. •Evaluates client programs and develops recommendations to improve operational effectiveness, financial sustainability, stakeholder engagement, and program outcomes. •Monitors program performance, identifies operational risks and improvement opportunities, and develops strategies to strengthen program effectiveness and long-term sustainability. Qualifications: •Bachelor’s degree or 5 years’ experience required and Master’s degree (MPA or government focused MBA) preferred •Office setting or remote work environment. •Some travel required for client meetings, conferences, stakeholder engagement, and project activities. •The above is intended to describe the general contents and requirements of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
