Hiring: Head of Policy Communications & Executive Writing Company: Coupang Location: Washington DC-Baltimore Area Job Posted Time: 2026-09-10 13:39:55 Employment Type: On-site Target Skills & Keywords : Epic Systems About the job Experience: •15+ years of experience in speechwriting, policy communications, executive communications, government communications, journalism, public affairs, or related fields Required Skills: •This role is part of the Global Public Affairs and US Corporate Communications team, and will work closely with Public Policy, Legal, and executive leadership teams to ensure consistent and impactful messaging across a broad range of issues affecting the company. •Create and evolve compelling narratives that articulate Coupang's positions on complex policy, economic, regulatory, and industry issues in support of the company's public affairs and advocacy efforts. •Develop high-quality opinion pieces, speeches, talking points, briefing materials, policy statements, congressional engagement materials, media content, and executive communications. •Serve as a senior member of the Global Public Affairs team, identifying opportunities to shape policy conversations and strengthen Coupang's external voice. •Maintain a deep understanding of the Washington policy, political, and media landscape, including emerging issues relevant to Coupang's business. •Monitor legislative, regulatory, and public policy developments to identify communications opportunities and potential risks. •Position Coupang executives as thought leaders through persuasive, audience-focused communications and strategic storytelling. •Advise executives on messaging, narrative development, stakeholder engagement, and external communications strategies.
