Location: Denver, CO Job Posted Time: 2026-09-15 12:14:05 Employment Type: Full-time Target Skills & Keywords : Microsoft Office About the job Experience: •Associates Degree in Physical Sciences or Business is required, and a minimum of three (3) years of laboratory, field sampling/monitoring, data review or other relevant experience or HS Diploma with 6 years of experience in an environmental laboratory Required Skills: •Follows specific guidance and drafts SOPs for management review. •Samples receipt and data entry for LIMS tracking following detailed instructions. •Samples preparation and analysis as described above following standard operating procedures (SOPs) and EPA reference methods. •Provides general laboratory support (e.g., glassware preparation) following detailed instructions. •Typical assignments require working on your feet while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE, generally a lab coat, safety glasses and gloves) for most of the day. •Performs filing, data entry, word processing or similar clerical tasks may be assigned. •Other duties may be assigned. Qualifications: •Must pass a U.S. federal security screening prior to beginning employment. •Attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. •Must be able to lift and carry 40 pounds. •Administrative support skills including word processing and editing, spreadsheet and database maintenance, scheduling and calendar management (preferably with web-based tools) are preferred. •Documented or demonstrated working knowledge of analytical laboratory operations, logistics, hazardous waste management and business-related software such as Microsoft Office. •Possession of 40 hour HAZWOPER and RCRA Training preferred.
