Required Skills: •Specialists build and configure hardware from blueprints and specifications, diagnose whether a failure is mechanical, electrical, or software-related, and safely operate non-CDL trucks to deliver and recover equipment. •Assemble, disassemble, troubleshoot, and repair hardware including registration printers, credit card readers, barcode scanners, journal and receipt printers, touchscreen monitors, battery back-ups, power controllers, USB devices, audio systems, and coin counters. •Assemble hardware units from blueprints and specifications using precision tools, and install and configure internal components such as power supplies, sensors, and I/O boards. •Configure Windows OS settings, install and update hardware drivers, and use Device Manager to resolve resource conflicts or unrecognized components. •Set up and test connectivity for integrated systems, including assigning static IP addresses, configuring subnet masks, and performing connectivity tests with command-line tools such as ping and ipconfig. •Diagnose and replace faulty sub-assemblies, such as sensors, motors, or PC components, on returned equipment to restore full functionality. •Complete Over-the-Counter (OTC) Salesforce tickets, including programming, testing, and preparing printers for shipment to the warehouse with correct configurations and contents. •Order parts internally using correct part numbers and descriptions, route them to the correct location, and navigate the internal parts and inventory management system (IMS) to research part numbers and descriptions. Qualifications: •Technical or vocational certification in electronics, IT (e.g., CompTIA A+), or a mechanical trade. •Demonstrated capacity to determine whether a failure is mechanical, electrical, or software-related and escalate or resolve accordingly. •Strong written communication skills, with experience producing technical documentation for internal and external audiences (Level III). •Basic hand and power tool proficiency (drills, saws, grinders, screwdrivers, wrenches, multimeters, crimpers). •Basic wood fabrication and repair. •Basic networking and IP configuration. •Mechanical assembly and blueprint reading. •Inventory tracking and parts ordering. •Safe operation of large delivery vehicles. •This is an onsite role in a warehouse and shop environment with exposure to varying temperatures and moderate to high noise from tools and equipment.
