Hiring: H2 Commissioning Specialist- East Coast Company: Plug Power Location: Mebane, NC Job Posted Time: 2026-09-13 12:01:04 Employment Type: Remote Target Skills & Keywords : Microsoft Office About the job Experience: •Three (3) or more years of experience in construction, repair, or maintenance in an electrical, industrial, or mechanical field. •Demonstrated capacity to travel as needed to carry out duties of the position – up to 100% Required Skills: •Travel as needed to customer sites to perform inspection, troubleshooting, repair, testing and commissioning of Plug power products including hydrogen storage infrastructure, electrolyzers, and stationary. •Execute and lead high level service repair projects on existing hydrogen infrastructure, including specialized service procedures including liquid tank repairs and vacuum jacket line repairs, etc. •Provide training to first responders, customers, and other Plug service personnel on troubleshooting, maintenance, and service of Hydrogen infrastructure. •Conducting Point to Point functionality testing •Pressure testing of piping systems per ASME standards •Testing and troubleshooting program issues with engineering assistance. •Inspecting of process piping systems •Provide documented results from system testing and commissioning at the completion of each project. Qualifications: •Associates degree or vocational degree in engineering, electronics, pressurized systems or other applicable field of study preferred. Or in lieu of a degree, 2 additional years of construction, repair, or maintenance experience in an electrical, industrial, or mechanical field.
