Hiring: GSOM Director-Organoid Facility Company: NYU Langone Health Location: New York, NY Job Posted Time: 2026-09-12 10:23:44 About the job Required Skills: •We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a GSOM Director-Organoid Facility. •Establish and implement foundational organoid platforms •Work closely with the initial group of priority investigators to assess and meet their organoid-related research needs. •Establish organoid protocols for at least one lineage derived from each of the three germ layers. •Develop these three germ layer organoid systems in parallel to build broad foundational capability efficiently. •Interface directly with individual laboratories to ensure protocols are optimized for their scientific and experimental needs. •Translate laboratory-specific SOPs into standardized Core SOPs that support reproducibility, scalability, and shared facility operations. •Implement all necessary cell line tracking, documentation, and quality control procedures to support rigorous and reliable core operations. Qualifications: •To qualify you must have a PhD, MD/PhD, or equivalent in stem cell biology, developmental biology, regenerative medicine, cell biology, bioengineering, or a related field. •Significant experience developing and implementing organoid culture systems. •Demonstrated expertise in SOP development, laboratory standardization, and quality control systems.
