Must be competent and comfortable working with email, document creation, and spreadsheet data entry. •Demonstrated capacity to search for specific information on the internet and provide source verification. A basic understanding of information security is desired. Working knowledge of boolean queries, social media intelligence, and familiarity with accessing public records are a plus. •Read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals and technical procedures. •Demonstrated capacity to write reports and business correspondence. Ability to compose clear, concise, and grammatically correct emails. •Effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Required Skills: •Monitor for threats or potential obstacles to security teams by using threat detection intelligence tools and open source research. •Provide emergency and non-emergency security system monitoring, event dispatch, and emergency notification services. •Dispatch emergency responses as requested by physical security teams. •Monitor multiple cameras and tracking software. •Confidently maneuver through various computer-based monitoring platforms including camera systems, access control systems, and alarm notification systems. •Maintain accurate security records within a centralized data management system. •Report time-sensitive security information to customers in a professional, succinct, and accurate manner via email, security logs, verbally, or text. •Use Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) best practices to find relevant information, validate sources, and disseminate threat information efficiently and effectively to customers. Qualifications: •Operational familiarity with security operations or related fields is preferred. •Previous experience in law enforcement or military is an advantage but not required. •Problem solver, critical thinking skills, and have a self-motivated and curious approach to investigations. •Demonstrated capacity to work independently and as part of a team in a high performing environment. •The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
