Hiring: Group Leader, BioChemical Analysis Company: Catalent Location: Kansas City, MO Job Posted Time: 2026-09-12 11:32:21 Employment Type: On-site Target Skills & Keywords : Project Management About the job Required Skills: •Shift: Monday -Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM •Lead and oversee method development, evaluation, transfers, verifications, qualifications, validations, stability studies, and ad hoc sample testing. •Plan, prioritize, organize, and execute analytical work in accordance with client contracts and technical agreements. •Support Project Technical Lead as required, maintaining project timelines and budgets. •Ensure integrity and quality of analytical data by adherence to in-house and client SOPs and GMP requirements. •Communicate effectively with clients, auditors, peers, and directors to ensure smooth project execution. •Carry out performance reviews and HR activities such as time entry approval, PTO approval, and salary adjustments in line with company policy. •Identify and implement new technologies with an understanding of their impact on Catalent offerings. Qualifications: •Individual may be required to sit, stand, walk regularly and occasionally lift, pull or push 0-40 pounds. •Demonstrable leadership experience at Catalent (including but not limited to participation in Catalent‑sponsored leadership programs such as NGGL, GOLD, LEAD Now, GM Excellence, and GROW) may be considered in place of external experience. •Knowledge of principles, theories, and concepts in disciplines such as Biology, Chemistry, and Biochemistry, with broad knowledge in other areas. •In-depth knowledge in instrumentation, theory, data interpretation, and applications in at least one technical area, with ability to assess new technologies and their impact on Catalent offerings. •Operational familiarity with most aspects of drug development and lifecycle support, and ability to develop strategies to meet regulatory milestones. •Strong project management skills for multiple concurrent projects of moderate to high complexity. •High personal credibility, strong motivation skills, and experience in team development. •Demonstrated capacity to lead by example in alignment with Catalent's values and culture. •Why You Should Join Catalent •Defined career path with annual performance reviews and feedback process.
