Hiring: Graduate Plumbing & Fire Protection Engineer - Boston - Summer 2027 Company: Buro Happold Location: Boston, MA Job Posted Time: 2026-09-11 11:00:00 Employment Type: Internship / Hybrid Target Skills & Keywords : AutoCAD, Quality Assurance, Systems Engineering About the job Experience: •Coursework in mechanical design, heat transfer, thermodynamics, and fluid hydraulics/dynamics •Awareness of building, plumbing and fire codes (IPC, NFPA) •Proficiency with BIM modeling software, such as Revit and AutoCAD •Internship experience at an engineering related firm preferred, and proven interest in the built environment and sustainable design •Demonstrated capacity to communicate thoughts and technical ideas in an accessible manner Required Skills: •As a Graduate Plumbing and Fire Protection Engineer you will assist in the design, documentation, and coordination of plumbing and fire protection systems for various building types. Compensation: •$80,000 - $83,000 / year •Flexible work environment (work from home / hybrid options) •Salary range of $80,000 to $83,000.
