Hiring: Global Product Sustainability Lead Company: Emerson Location: Florham Park, NJ Job Posted Time: 2026-09-10 14:55:28 Employment Type: Contract Target Skills & Keywords : CPT, Product Management, Project Management About the job Experience: •5-7 years of work experience in product design, or product management •7 years of work experience in product design, or product management Required Skills: •This position can be based in any major Emerson BU HQ location in the United States, enabling the successful candidate to partner with global teams while remaining connected to one of our key office locations. •Sustainable Product and Packaging Design •Lead the development and drive the adoption of sustainable product and packaging design strategies throughout the company and support product development teams in implementing actions to reduce emissions and improve product circularity. •Interface directly with the product environmental compliance team to integrate regulatory considerations into Emerson’s sustainable product and packaging design strategy and guidelines. •Partner cross-functionally with engineering teams to execute improvement projects that can serve as best practice examples. •Continue to enhance Emerson’s sustainable new product and packaging design guidelines. •Identify and prioritize cross-business strategic design initiatives that can deliver material sustainability impact at scale across multiple product lines. •Keep abreast of external sustainable product and packaging design trends and actively participate in external expert industry forums.
