Hiring: Global Medical Director, Medical Affairs Company: Dyne Therapeutics Location: Waltham, MA Job Posted Time: 2026-09-10 13:16:41 About the job Experience: •10+ years of relevant experience with 6+ in industry years of relevant experience in Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Scientific Communications, or related roles within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry Required Skills: •The Global Medical Director, Medical Affairs serves as a strategic Global Medical Affairs Lead for Dyne’s programs, with responsibility for developing and executing integrated global medical plans that advance scientific understanding, evidence generation, external engagement, and launch readiness. Qualifications: •Advanced scientific or clinical degree required; MD, PhD, PharmD, or equivalent doctoral degree preferred •Demonstrated ability to develop and execute medical strategies, global medical plans, evidence generation plans, KOL engagement strategies, congress plans, and publication or medical education activities •Strong scientific acumen with the ability to interpret clinical, nonclinical, biomarker, real-world, and competitive data and translate insights into clear medical recommendations •Proven ability to build credible relationships with KOLs, healthcare professionals, investigators, payers, patient advocacy partners, and other external stakeholders •Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex scientific and medical information clearly to internal and external audiences •Strong collaboration, influencing, prioritization, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive alignment and execution without direct authority •Demonstrated capacity to operate with urgency, sound judgment, accountability, and flexibility in a fast-paced, growing biotechnology company •Solid functional working knowledge of applicable medical affairs, compliance, regulatory, and scientific exchange standards •Willingness to travel as needed for congresses, advisory boards, investigator or site engagement, external expert meetings, and internal meetings •Positive team member who embodies Dyne’s core values and demonstrates strong commitment to patients, scientific integrity, and compliance Compensation: •$215,000 - $260,000 / year Interested candidates, please apply directly through the job posting on company's career page or try via AI auto apply on this platform.
