Required Skills: •Design and maintain PostgreSQL/PostGIS databases and schemas. •Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines that ingest, clean, transform, and load geospatial and tabular data from internal systems, ArcGIS, APIs, and external datasets. •Provide mentorship, technical guidance, and professional development support to GIS team members. •Write and optimize SQL and Python code to automate geoprocessing, data validation, and recurring data workflows. •Design data models and table structures that scale. •Build and maintain integrations (APIs, views, exports) that make spatial and tabular data available to dashboards, applications, and analytics tools used across the company. •Document data architecture, pipeline logic, table schemas, and data lineage. •Partner cross-functionally with the Commercial Strategy, Development, Systems, Engineering, and Finance teams to translate data needs into scalable, well-engineered solutions. Qualifications: •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, GIS, or a related field, or comparable level of professional experience. •Strong experience in Python and SQL, with hands-on experience building data pipelines, automation scripts, and geoprocessing workflows. •Demonstrated mentorship and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coach, mentor, and support the professional growth of GIS team members. •Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions. •Strong attention to detail with a high level of integrity and organizational capacity to manage multiple projects. •Self-motivated with proven ability to take ownership, initiative, and accountability. •A willingness to contribute to our culture which thrives on building trust and holding one another accountable.
