Hiring: Generator Testing Technician Company: ERock Location: Houston, TX Job Posted Time: 2026-09-11 10:13:39 Employment Type: Full-time About the job Experience: •1 Year Mechanical, Electrical, or Testing •At least 1 Year Mechanical, Electrical, or Testing Required Skills: •Perform emissions testing on natural gas (primary) engines. •Perform basic preventative maintenance on 400 kW gensets. •Be proficient utilizing, calibrating, and troubleshooting various emissions testing devices. •Perform periodic inspections to identify maintenance needs. •Perform skilled repairs of Volvo Penta Diesel Engines (16 L), Power Solutions International (21.9 L) and Marathon generator ends, as well as various voltage control and synchronizing equipment. •Be proficient at learning and utilizing manufacturer specific software to troubleshoot and diagnose engine and control system problems. •Facilitate technical support and liaison with equipment manufacturers. •Perform scheduled, preventive, or predictive generator maintenance tasks.
