Hiring: General Manager - Rentals Company: PRC Resources Location: Midland, TX Job Posted Time: 2026-09-10 13:57:05 About the job Experience: •7+ years of experience in oilfield services, equipment rentals, flowback, completions, production, or a related field Required Skills: •Lead day-to-day operations for the Midland-area equipment rental business, with a primary focus on flowback and production-related equipment •Coordinate incoming customer work, equipment availability, scheduling, delivery, setup, pickup, maintenance, and field support. •Ensure equipment is properly maintained, inspected, tracked, and ready for deployment. •Build operational processes that improve equipment utilization, responsiveness, safety, and profitability. •Recruit, develop, and manage field and operations personnel as the company grows. •Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and ensure a high level of service and execution. •Actively develop new business throughout the Permian Basin by building relationships with operators, flowback companies, completion companies, consultants, and other oilfield customers. •Identify opportunities to expand the rental fleet based on customer demand and market opportunities. Qualifications: •Previous operations, branch, district, or general management experience strongly preferred. •In-depth knowledge of oilfield equipment and field operations; direct experience with flowback equipment rentals is highly preferred. •Established knowledge of the Permian Basin / West Texas oilfield market •Proven ability to manage people, equipment, customers, and multiple jobs simultaneously. •Commercial mindset with the ability to develop customer relationships and generate new business. •In-depth knowledge of operational costs, equipment utilization, margins, and profitability. •Comfortable operating in a growing company where processes and infrastructure are still being developed. •Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. •, not simply manage an existing operation.
