Hiring: General Laborer Pasco GF Company: Simplot Company Location: Pasco, WA Job Posted Time: 2026-09-16 20:04:27 About the job Experience: •Demonstrated capacity to work safely around industrial equipment •Demonstrated capacity to work in refrigerated and frozen environments •Demonstrated capacity to stand for long periods of time up to 12 hours •Demonstrated capacity to wear personal protective equipment including rain gear, hard hat, safety goggles and hearing protection •Demonstrated capacity to work with and around a variety of cleaning chemicals Required Skills: •Operates a product hopper to dump frozen product on the packaging line •Builds cardboard totes, tapes and inserts corner posts •Loads cardboard totes into tote erector, inserts liner and tote corners into finished tote •Inspects product for defects and removes foreign material from vegetables on a conveyer belt •Works in the high care room to close totes of product on the conveyer •Ensures that cases are hand packed with the right count of bags and sealed properly •Manually hand stacks cases of finished product while following a stacking template •Wears personal protective equipment while cleaning and sanitizing processing equipment during down time.
