Required Skills: •Serve as the primary Finance owner of the relationship with the third-party fund administrator. •Review and approve administrator-prepared NAV packages, financial statements, investor allocations, capital activity, and supporting reconciliations. •Establish and maintain effective review controls over outsourced fund accounting activities. •Monitor administrator's performance against agreed service levels, reporting deadlines, and quality standards. •Review and challenge unusual transactions, reconciling items, accounting conclusions, and NAV adjustments. •Coordinate resolution of data, accounting, and operational issues between the administrator and internal teams. •Develop processes and controls that allow the fund administration model to scale as Arixa launches new products and grows AUM. •NAV, Fund Accounting & Valuation Governance Qualifications: •7–10 years of progressive accounting experience, with extensive experience in private funds, private credit, real estate investment funds, alternative asset management, or a related investment management environment. •Public accounting alternatives audit experience. Experience overseeing or working closely with third-party fund administrators strongly preferred. •Prior experience as a Fund Controller, Assistant Fund Controller, or similar role preferred. •In-depth knowledge of investment company accounting, NAV preparation and review, capital activity, allocations, management fees, incentive fees, and fund financial statements. •Demonstrated experience managing annual fund audits and working with external auditors. •Operational familiarity with SEC-registered investment adviser environments and related financial controls, books and records, custody, valuation, and fee/expense allocation considerations preferred. •Strong technical accounting, analytical, and problem-solving skills. •Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work effectively with senior management and cross-functional teams. •Advanced Excel skills; experience with fund accounting platforms, investor reporting systems, ERP systems, and data/reporting tools preferred. •Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
