The successful candidate will design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain secure, scalable enterprise applications using modern Java, Spring Boot, Angular, microservices, containerization, and DevSecOps technologies. •This position will collaborate closely with architects, platform engineers, test organizations, system integration teams, product owners, and other E-IDS development teams to deliver high-quality, integrated software solutions in an Agile development environment. •Salary is based on relevant years of experience •The following duties are considered essential to the role. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions. •Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain secure, scalable full-stack applications supporting the FAA Enterprise Information Display System (E-IDS). •Develop and enhance back-end services using Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices architecture. •Build and maintain responsive front-end user interfaces using Angular or comparable modern web technologies. Qualifications: •A successful candidate will have •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, or another related technical discipline. •Eight (8) or more years of professional software development experience designing, developing, and supporting enterprise applications. •Demonstrated experience developing applications using Java and the Spring Boot framework. •Demonstrated experience supporting FAA software development programs, systems, or operational environments. •Current FAA contractor credentials/badge, or the ability to obtain and maintain the credentials required for assignment to the FAA program.
