Required Skills: •The Fuel Operations Specialist will coordinate maintenance activities at all company fueling stations. This includes monitoring maintenance requests, dispatching vendors to conduct repairs and reviewing monitoring systems to proactively address maintenance needs. •Actively facilitate and support opening of new fueling stations. Team member will travel to conduct on-site trainings, coordinate preopening inspections, and ensure stations are operationally ready for opening. •Review all maintenance requests and dispatch vendors to address issues. Build partnerships with new and existing maintenance vendors to ensure the fueling stations are adequately supported. •Review key maintenance metrics such as flow rate data and pump down reports. Implement preventative actions based on the data to deliver an unbeatable experience to our members. •Escalate maintenance risks to management and bring forward solutions to keep our fueling stations running optimally. •Contribute to process improvement and assist in various department projects as needed to meet company objectives. Qualifications: •Associates Degree or higher in Natural Science, Finance, Construction Management, Petroleum Engineering, Project management , or related field (or related experience). •Bachelors degree in Business Analytics or related field preferred •5 + years experience in retail fuel facility operations preferred •Strong knowledge of gas station operations and respective processes preferred. •Demonstrated knowledge of underground storage tanks and fueling systems. •Outstanding written and oral communication •Excellent PC skills including Microsoft Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. •Proven interpersonal and customer relations skills. •This is a hybrid role. Tuesday through Thursday are in-office days at BJ's Club Support Center in Marlborough, MA and Monday and Friday are remote days. •We recognize the growing role of AI tools, including ChatGPT, and value familiarity with them.
