Location: Los Angeles, CA Job Posted Time: 2026-09-16 13:27:35 Employment Type: Full-time About the job Required Skills: •Assist News Producers, Writers, and newscast Director with prep and coordination of content production elements for live newscasts. •Coordinate and communicate prep of edited video content for live newscasts. Track server playout status. •Track and communicate status of edited content to News producers in conjunction with reporter live-shot schedules. •Develop and assist standard operating procedures for video content, storage and organization. •Provide desktop editing support (Adobe Premiere) for News bumps and teases. •Track and communicate News feed schedules to writers and producers. •Perform quality analysis (QA) of News feed video and edited content prior to broadcast. •Track and support administrative storage on Core Media, BitCentral and other related systems. Qualifications: •Bachelor’s Degree or certification in Communications, Television Production, or equivalent work experience. •Two or more years of experience working in live News production. •Team player. Communicate and engage with co-workers in a positive and productive manner. •Effective planning, task prioritization, and works efficiently under deadline. •Maintains focus and composure in a dynamic work environment. •Knowledge and execution of news pre-production processes, technology, and workflow. •Demonstrates intellect and aptitude to train others on production workflow and technology. •Creative and innovative thinking in all aspects of production responsibilities. •Possess working knowledge of production operating systems including ENPS, Bit Central, Core Media, Adobe Premiere, Ross Xpression and equivalent operating systems.
