Hiring: FSQA Lead Company: Trident Seafoods Location: Anacortes, WA Job Posted Time: 2026-09-10 13:24:09 Employment Type: Full-time Target Skills & Keywords : Quality Assurance About the job Experience: •Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities (KSAs) •Demonstrated capacity to apply proper acceptance/rejection criteria and marks items with details such as grade and acceptance or rejection status •Knowledge of requirements for auditing purposes •Strong ability to Communicates significant issues or developments identified during quality assurance activities and provides recommended process improvements to Production/FSQA Management •Demonstrated capacity to communicate involvement and results of quality assurance activities to other departments Required Skills: •Lead and oversee overseeing the FSQA staff on the production line •Assist FSQA technicians with operational reports and complete required paperwork •Monitor performance of FSQA technicians and provide assessment to FSQA supervisor. •Monitor employees (as time permits with running a line) to make sure that checks are being done in a timely manner and all hand/foot dips are being done •Conduct standardized tests on products and materials to ensure compliance with standards and regulations regarding factors such as color, weight, dimension, texture •Review purchased products or components and provides input to the decision of whether to accept the product and future purchases from the vendor •Document data obtained during all quality assurance activities, consistent with HACCP standards and company policies and procedures •Record test data such as weights, temperatures, moisture content, qualities and quantities inspected or graded Qualifications: •A minimum of 2 years of experience in Food Safety Quality Assurance •HS Diploma or equivalent •Demonstrated capacity to work around a production line with machinery and moving parts. •This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship. •Stay connected with Trident Seafoods online at www.tridentseafoods.com and follow us on Facebook , X , Instagram , Pinterest , YouTube or LinkedIn •Trident Seafoods and its subsidiaries have adopted a drug-free workplace policy.
