Hiring: Frontend Developer - JobID-0270 Company: Innovative Defense Technologies (IDT) Location: San Diego, CA Job Posted Time: 2026-09-16 15:10:22 Employment Type: Full-time / On-site Target Skills & Keywords : Bash, CI/CD, DNS, Defense Industry, Docker, Git, Groovy, JavaScript, Kubernetes, Linux, Nginx, Podman, PostgreSQL, PowerShell, Python, REST, React, SQL, Security Clearance, TCP/IP About the job Required Skills: •Innovative Defense Technologies (IDT), a leading defense technology company, is seeking a Frontend Developer to be part of our Integrated Mission Systems (IMS) team and based out of our San Diego, CA location. •Serve primarily as a frontend developer, helping design, integrate, troubleshoot, test, deliver and update software code in various languages and document associated architectures, processes, procedures and techniques to operate and sustain end items. •Work closely with cross-functional teams of software, systems, integration, information, production and test engineers and subject matter experts to understand requirements, workflows, and develop front-and-back-end features and architecture. •Adhere to government and industry security, reliability, and performance standards; apply orthodox programming paradigms; interpret and apply DoD and industry standards; and participate in peer reviews, configuration, design, and performance reviews. •Bachelor’s Degree in applicable discipline such as software engineering, computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, data science, cyber security, mathematics, or aeronautical engineering (or equivalent full-time experience). •Significant experience using React or modern JavaScript •Significant experience with frontend frameworks, control systems and testing •Significant experience building and maintaining UI components Qualifications: •All applicants must be able to obtain/maintain an active Secret U.S. Security Clearance. •This is an on-site position. Requiring at least 4 days in office, based out of our San Diego, CA location.
