Hiring: FP&A Associate Company: Greystar Location: Charleston, SC Job Posted Time: 2026-09-12 11:49:58 Employment Type: Remote Target Skills & Keywords : CFA, Databricks, Embedded Systems, Financial Planning, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint About the job Required Skills: •Consolidated APB FP&A Prepare and deliver the consolidated management reporting package for senior leadership, pairing the numbers with a clear narrative — key drivers identified, variances explained, and leadership questions anticipated before they're asked. •Coordinate cross-functional FP&A partners across the business lines around recurring performance reviews, the annual Business Plan, and reforecast cycles, holding partners to agreed deadlines. •APB Shared Services Support •Support financial planning and reporting for APB Shared Services, including management of non-payroll operating expense (OpEx) budgeting, forecasting, and variance tracking. •Partner with Shared Services stakeholders to ensure cost center reporting is accurate, well-documented, and defensible to leadership. •Deliver proactive variance summaries for business-line leadership each financial review cycle, and document the reasoning behind the allocation methodology and any changes made during the year. •Serve as a hands-on driver of the team's FP&A tech stack, using Microsoft 365 (CoPilot, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Loop, and related tools), Anaplan, and Claude as the core toolset for daily work. •Actively participate in and advocate for the Anaplan roadmap on behalf of the APB, and represent the team in relevant systems and technology planning forums. Qualifications: •Strong analytical rigor, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to translate complex analyses into clear, executive-ready narratives. The successful candidate must also be adaptable and responsive to evolving business needs. •Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, engineering, economics, or another quantitative discipline required. •At least five years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or financial analysis. •Demonstrated ability to interpret financial information and communicate insights clearly and concisely to senior leadership. •Strong quantitative and analytical skills, including demonstrated experience in financial modeling and variance analysis. •Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Copilot. •MBA, CFA, or CPA designation preferred. •Team members work in an office or remote work environment; no special Compensation: •Flexible work environment (work from home / hybrid options) Interested candidates, please apply directly through the job posting on company's career page or try via AI auto apply on this platform.
