Qualifications: •Demonstrate the ability to provide effective customer service and interact professionally with visitors, employees, volunteers, partners, and the public. •Demonstrate strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills. •Demonstrate the ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing operational needs. •Two or more years of leadership, team management, or supervisory experience, including experience leading staff, volunteers, projects, programs, or daily operations. •Two or more years of customer service or public-facing experience, particularly in parks, recreation, conservation, hospitality, retail, public service, or a similar service-oriented environment. •Possess a North Dakota Peace Officer License or have the ability to obtain one within 12 months of hire. The training required will be provided and funded by the agency. •Possess a valid North Dakota driver's license or obtain one within six months of hire. •Be willing and able to live on-site in park-provided housing as required by the position. •Be willing and able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events, particularly during peak operating seasons. •Demonstrated experience with park operations, environmental education, facilities upkeep, natural resource management, or community engagement.
